Castlebank Horticultural Centre will be hosting its first plant sale of the year on the 16th & 17th of April. Doors open at 9am, where there will be a selection of shrubs, alpines, saplings and perennials on sale, as well as tea, coffee & cake!
Walter McArthur, the new educational gardener at Castlebank Horticultural Centre, will be on hand to answer any questions, give advice or help with any matters horticultural. Walter said “I can’t wait to show off the great produce we have at the centre, as well as have the opportunity to meet the public for the first time in my new role.”
In addition, to the plants on offer there will be a selection of home-baking, as well as tea & coffee on sale.
It is advised that if travelling by car, you park in the main car park in Castlebank park, and make your way on foot as there is limited spaces at the Horticultural Centre.
Any money raised will be re-invested into the development trust, so we can continue to deliver this project, as well as others in the town.
