Families are invited to attend Lanark Community Development Trust’s ‘Ghouls in the Garden’ Halloween event on Thursday 31st October. The event will run after school, with drop-in activities available from 3.30pm – 6.30pm at Castlebank Horticultural Centre.
A range of spooky activities will be on offer including ‘Dookin’ for Apples’, Spooky Ghost Trail, Nature crafts, Bug hunts, Selfie-zone, Colouring-in and Quiz sheets. There will also be a ‘Best costume’ competition for children, with prizes of £20 & £10 gift cards for the winner and runner up, kindly donated by Tesco Lanark.
Visitors will also be able to see a range of creepy carnivorous plants and enjoy tasty homemade pumpkin soup.
